Aidan Hassan – Solo Trumpet

Our soloist tonight in the Hummel concerto is Irish born Aidan Hassan. Aidan is, like Ian Morgan-Williams, making his debut performance with the orchestra. He studied with George Reynolds and was a professional player in London for 13 years, spending much of this time as principal cornet with the Band of the Irish Guards.

Now a well sought-after soloist in Wales and the North West, Aidan is currently working as a brass tutor in North Powys.
