WREXHAM SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

 

Amy Bebbington - Piano

 

Amy Bebbington will be making her solo debut with the Wrexham Symphony Orchestra, when she will be performing Mozart’s Piano Concerto in A major, K488.

 

Amy began studying piano at the age of 8 with Mrs Gillian Yearsley. Then, after winning the open Piano Class at Malpas Music Festival, she became a pupil of John Gough. She plays regularly for Chester Music Society and has been successful at a number of festivals, including Southport, Blackpool, Bromborough, Oswestry, Chester and Crewe.

 

She achieved her Grade 8 exam with Distinction and recently attained the ALCM Diploma, resulting in an invitation to compete for the WS Lloyd Webber Award in London in December 1993. She is currently studying ‘A’ Levels in Music, French and English and hopes to continue her studies at University or Music College.
