Colin Graham - Piano

Colin Graham was born in Greenock on the West Coast of Scotland and began to learn the piano at the age of seven. On entering the Music School of Douglas Academy, he studied with Alexandra Andrievsky for six years before joining the Royal Northern College of Music in 1994.

During his time at the RNCM, Colin studied with Vladimir Ovchinikov and more extensively with Helen Krizos. Colin has participated in many masterclasses with such distinguished musicians as Arnaldo Cohen, Malcolm Martineau, Anne Quefflec, John O'Conor, Pascal Roge Eden and Tamir and Ian Brown.

Colin has performed in many of the British venues including Manchester's Bridgewater Hall, Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall and recently gave a broadcast with Mary Owen, flautist, on BBC Radio 3. Colin has also participated in the RNCM's prestigious 'Glories of the Keyboard' Festival.

Future plans include a series of British recitals with Mary Owen and a collaboration with Catherine Friel, soprano, exploring the cabaret repertoire.
