Diana Palmerston - Soprano

Diana Palmerston studied singing at the Royal Northern College of Music where she was awarded the Professional Performance Diploma. She has since performed regularly in recitals, concerts and oratorio throughout the British Isles and has appeared with the Manchester Camerata, the Northern Chamber, Northern Sinfonia and Chester Symphony Orchestras. She has broadcast for BBC radio and appeared on Granada Television. She sang the title role in the first performance this century of Handel's opera “Teseo” and repeated that success with the English Bach Festival at Covent Garden. She has sung principal operatic roles at Sadler's Wells, Theatre Clwyd, Athens, Siena and in Spain.
