WREXHAM SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

SPONSORSHIP & ADVERTISING

The Wrexham Symphony Orchestra is eager to accept sponsorships from local companies or individuals who would like to support the orchestra financially. The WSO is primarily self-funding through member subscriptions and concert ticket sales, however any additional income received would:

-         help secure the orchestra's financial future by supporting general running costs such as rehearsal and concert venue hire, conductors fees and promotional advertising

-          help fund the cost and/or expenses of additional players required to perform a particular work. This cost is kept to an absolute minimum through a new "no expenses" policy enforced as far as possible

-         help fund the cost of music hire for works not readily available from the usual low-cost music library services. Our March 2001 concert saw the introduction of our first sponsored work, Manuel de Falla's Three-Cornered Hat was kindly sponsored by Denbighshire Stairlifts. The July 2005 programme of Movie excerpts was only made possible through many sponsors – David Spalding Solicitor, Shoreline Management Partnership, Mr and Mrs Sproson, Mrs S. Lansom and Mrs E.J. Kelly, the Livesey family, and an anonymous sponsor.

If you would like to support the orchestra through any of the following ways, please contact us.

-         place an advertisement in future concert programmes. Current advertisers include Denbighshire Stairlifts, Temple’s Chemist, The Music Place, David Spalding, NEWI, Contas, and Brian Jones Auto Services

-         sponsor a work to be performed in a forthcoming concert

-         sponsor concert posters. The posters for the July 2005 concert were sponsored by Brian Jones Auto Services.

-         sponsor our website

-         make a cash donation to the orchestra

Many thanks for any support you can give us.
